I live in a remote corner othe least populated state of Wyoming. There are more antelopes in these parts than people. Although we do have Internet we are far removed from an Interstate highway. Therefore, there is a good possibility that our paths have never crossed. Let me give you a brief introduction. I was given three first names at birth, Donald Edward Thomas. I am first and foremost a follower of Christ. My God has blessed me with a marriage of 45 years to my lovely wife, Mary. In His kindness He chose to fill my quiver with 7 wonderful arrows. I will marvel for eternity that God called me to be an under-shepherd of His flock. I have served as the pastor of Trinity Bible Church in Powell, Wyoming for the past 20 years. We are a Baptist congregation that embraces the great Biblical doctrines of the Protestant Reformation, sometimes referred to as the “doctrines of grace” and most fully explained in the London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689. My studies have taken me to the campuses of California State University at Long Beach, John Marshall Law School and Talbot Theological Seminary. Following law school I practiced law in California and served as a professor at the Simon Greenleaf School of Law. I am the founder of Five Solas Press and have written one book, What’s Inside, Finding the Right in Light of the Beatitudes (2015). Like the tag line of this blog it is my passion to add fuel to stoke the flames of reformation and revival.
